New Dawn Energy Limited was founded by Darren Morgan, Director, in 2010. Darren has grown the business to become one of the longest serving renewable energy companies across the UK whilst maintaining that “family feel” approach to business.
As an electrical and renewables engineer Darren has a team working directly to him, they hold the right skills that are underpinned by education and training enabling them to safely work within this sector. As New Dawn Energy, we are fully accredited through MCS, hold Which? Trusted Trader and Octopus Approved Installer status. This not only gives our customers assurance regarding service quality but enables, through the MCS, access to the Smart Export Guarantee for homes and businesses.
Customer experience is at the heart of our business. As a team we strive for excellence, ensuring our customers are happy, and receive a quality service that is bespoke to their needs and requirements.
Darren is often heard to say “if our customers are happy, then we are happy”. This statement sums up the core ethos of our business.
Being MCS accredited we work within a set of rules and regulations that protects customers, giving an additional layer of assurance and quality standards. This also enables our customers to access the Smart Export Guarantee for their homes and businesses.
We pride ourselves in the service we offer from giving advice through to installation on a variety of technologies for domestic, agricultural and commercial settings. In addition being an OZEV registered installer, enables us to install EV charge points for business customers.
All our team are qualified and have significant expertise in electrical installation and renewable technologies. All team members are employed directly with the company therefore we do not need to use sub-contractors. This enables us to maintain quality and the “family feel” approach which underpins our company ethos.
Customers are at the heart of our business from the first enquiry, to designing, choosing and installing the right technology and a fully operational system. After care is key for our customers as well as offering ongoing service maintenance.
We aim to provide a personalised service, fully understand the needs of our customers by listening to their requirements and work with them to design a system that meets these requirements.
We are an approved installer with three main companies – Goodwe, Tesla and MyEnergi. These relationships have been built over time with the manufacturers putting customers at the heart of their businesses which aligns with our values and ethos as a company.
We do work with other suppliers for our Solar, Battery and EV charger equipment to meet customer needs and requirements.
Darren is the owner of New Dawn Energy and is a fully qualified electrician by trade. He also has over 20 years of experience in the renewables industry.
Darren is the man in the know when it comes to renewable energy solutions and electric vehicle charging. He’s got an in-depth understanding of the market and the available technology and can recommend the system that best suits your needs and your budget. He’s also a friendly guy who loves surfing and motorsport.
Charlie has been with New Dawn Energy for 8 years now and started off as an apprentice. He is now a fully qualified electrician and works alongside Darren to install renewable energy solutions and undertake general electrical work in Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Shropshire and beyond.
Charlie is also a superb rugby player and coach for Ludlow Rugby Club and we’re proud to be sponsoring him again this season.
Rhys was taken on as an apprentice 3 years ago and is nearing completion of his qualification. In this time, he has become a valuable member of the team.
Rhys races motorbikes on short circuits in his spare time with his grandad.
We’re proud to employ apprentices to enable them to learn a highly skilled trade.
